Reqursor Platform GDPR and Data Hosting

1. About this page

Reqursor Platform is made by Reqursor Technologies, a software company based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Our privacy policy covers Reqursor Platform, this website and the Reqursor Platform dashboard. This page summarizes what it says about Reqursor Platform. For the full text, read the privacy policy.

Reqursor Platform is in early access, so we update this page as the product grows.

2. Where your data is hosted

Reqursor Platform runs in the EU, in data centers in Germany (Falkenstein and Nuremberg) and Finland (Helsinki).

When you use AI features, some store settings are sent to our AI provider. Section 4 explains exactly what is sent.

3. What data we process

• Your account: your name, email address, organization name and sign-in details. Passwords are stored as a salted hash, never in plain text.
• How your stores are set up: each store's setup, design settings, page layouts, managed settings and the history of changes.
• Your stores' business data: product catalogs, customer orders, media and store settings that Reqursor Platform does not manage. This data stays in each store's own isolated storage. We don't access or read it, except while we move an existing store to Reqursor: then only with your explicit consent, read-only and only for as long as the move takes.
• Usage: counts of changes and AI actions, and which features you use. We use this to improve the product and to calculate your bill. We collect no personal data about your stores' visitors.
• Forms on the Reqursor Platform website: the early-access form collects your first and last name, work email, company or agency name, the number of stores you manage (as a range) and the biggest problem you want Reqursor Platform to solve. The contact form collects your first and last name, email address, the subject you choose and your message. We use these details only to reply to you and, if you request early access, to assess your request. We don't use them for marketing.

4. What the AI sees

When you use AI features, we send store settings to our AI provider, Anthropic, through the Claude API: design settings, the setup of page sections and details of changes made outside Reqursor. What we send is:

• Limited to one organization per request: no AI request ever holds data from another organization.
• Kept to a minimum: only the settings needed for that task.
• Not used for training: Anthropic does not train models on API customer data.
• Free of secrets: passwords, API keys and other credentials are never included.
• Free of business data: orders, products and customer records are never included.

5. How we use data

We use personal data only to reply to you, to provide Reqursor Platform, to bill our customers, to keep our services secure and to send service notices and security alerts. We send product updates only with your consent. We never sell personal data or share it with advertisers.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access: get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
• Erasure: have your data deleted.
• Restriction: have the processing of your data limited.
• Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection: object to the processing of your data.
• Withdrawal of consent: withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. You can also complain to a data protection authority. In the Netherlands, that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

In Reqursor Platform you can also act on your data yourself: export it in standard file formats with the Data Export feature, update your profile and organization details, delete your account and all its data, and turn off analytics in your cookie preferences.
